PicoBladeâ„¢ 1.25mm (.049") pitch system is designed for high-density harness applications. PicoBlade provides the same 1.0 amperes of current as similar 2.00mm (.079") pitch systems, but in a more compact design. PicoBladeâ„¢ is offered in wire-to-board and wire-to-wire options. The system saves about 45% of PCB space compared to typical 2.00mm wire-to-board systems. It is a single row system, available in 2 to 15 circuits, with both surface mount and through-hole headers.

Easy-Onâ„¢ BackFlipâ„¢ FPC

Molex offers a wide variety of connectors for flat flexible cable (FFC) and flexible printed circuitry (FPC). These miniature SMT connectors come in various fine-pitch options and include push and flip-type actuators, which are pre-assembled covers that secure the connection between the FFC-FPC and the connector terminals. Molex is the only connector company to offer a 0.25mm (.010\\\") pitch connector (photo right), which saves about 40% of space compared to 0.30mm (.012\\\") pitch types, and is the smallest FPC connector in the world, in terms of combined depth, height and length.

Easy-Onâ„¢ Type FPC

Molexs line of microminiature SMT FFC/FPC connectors include features to meet a wide variety of space and application-specific needs. Molex also offers a broad range of ultra low-profile SMT FFC/FPC connectors for tight-packaging applications. Molex is continually developing lower-profile and higher-density features to meet the downsizing needs of electronic equipment makers. New features recently added to Molexs Microminiature FFC/FPC range include dual-contacts to eliminate the need to source different top and bottom mount versions, narrow width versions for further space savings and various cable tab and actuator locking styles to provide additional cable alignment and retention.

Micro HDMI

Molex leads the industry as the first manufacturer of the HDMI* Micro connector, the worlds smallest commoditized I/O solution for consumer electronics and portable hand-held device makers. Molexs HDMI Micro connector is a 19-pin, 0.40mm (.016\\\") pitch interconnect, in a 6.50mm (.256\\\") by 2.90mm (.114\\\") stainless steel shell. The connector offers all the advantages of the HDMI 1.4 specification and is half the size of the current Mini connector. Molex has expanded its broad line of microSD* connectors to include new versions that reduce memory card fly-out and sticking problems in mobile and compact devices. The new 1.00mm (.039\\\") pitch wire-to-board Pico-Claspâ„¢ connector system from Molex was developed for various connections in Flat Panel Displays (FPD). The compact (smallest pitch wire-to-board connector with positive lock), small circuit size features of this system also make it ideal for other applications such as Notebook PCs and other compact devices.

Pico-EZmateâ„¢

Pico-EZmateâ„¢, Molexs new 1.20mm (.047\\\") pitch connectors are compact and low profile, offering a mated height of just 1.40mm (.055\\\") for miniature wire-to- board applications. The Pico-EZmate system includes secure locking features between the receptacle housing and header, along with an audible click to ensure mating. The receptacle is mated vertically with the header, which enables easy placement in tight packaging applications. The system is available in 2 to 5 circuits and ideal for various applications such as mobile phones, notebook PCs, portable audio players and other compact mobile devices.

USB On-The-Go (OTG)

Molexs USB On-The-Go (OTG) connectors and cable assemblies help enable mobile devices such as digital cameras, PDAs, audio players, printers and cellular phones to exchange data directly without the need for a host PC.
