Product Highlights
Molex's HDMI* Micro connector is a 19-pin, 0.40mm (.016") pitch interconnect, in 6.50mm (.256") by 2.90mm (.114") stainless steel shell. The connector offers all the advantages of the HDMI 1.4 specification and is half the size of the current Mini connector. The new Micro-USB connector technology has given the opportunity for portable device and mobile phone makers to further reduce their real estate in their applications. The Molex® Micro-USB supports the current USB OTG supplement. This allows communication between portable devices without going through a host. Molex's SlimStack™ connectors are tested to accommodate frequency rates up to 3 GHz for various high-speed applications. Molex has expanded its broad line of microSD† connectors to include new versionsthat reduce memory card fly-out and sticking problems in mobile and compact devices. The SIM card is integrated into the mobile application via this block-type connector. The 6 circuit version is most commonly used. Visual transmission is via the camera module connected to the camera socket. These sockets allow mobile phone makers to reduce their bills-of-material (BOM) due to the socket's compact design and simple assembly process. Molex® offers one of the industries broadest selections of high-density FFC/FPC connectors for Flat Panel Display (FPD) and other high pincount applications. Molex's Microcoaxial connector is a very small cost effective RF connector that is compatible with U.FL® connectors.
